One of the most experienced coaches, Shakeel fell in love with the beautiful game of soccer at a very young age in his native Trinidad & Tobago. Moving to Brooklyn in his teens, he played youth soccer for the Brooklyn Patriots and Brooklyn Italians, and travelled across the country.
From Lyon France, Simon played for the Olympique Lyonnais academy up to 18, as part of the generation of players who helped France win the 2018 World Cup. In 2014, Simon was recruited by St. John’s University and began coaching with Born Kickers and MKFC.
Tom is the co-founder of Born Kickers. From Reading, England, Tom started playing from a young age. He went on to captain Nottingham University, before moving to the US. Tom also works as a TV Host and voice artist.
